NRI Rishta is an intermediary platform designed solely to facilitate matrimonial introductions and matrimonial matchmaking between consenting adults (or their authorized parents/guardians). We do not operate as an employment agency, investigative agency, matrimonial guarantee service, dating portal, or solemnization authority.
2. No Guarantee of Marriage or Match Compatibility
NRI Rishta makes no warranty, express or implied, that utilizing our platform will result in an engagement, marriage, compatible life partner, or specific volume of responses. Matchmaking outcomes depend entirely on mutual compatibility, personal values, family background, and personal choices of individual members.
3. User-Generated Content & Independent Due Diligence
All information, photographs, career details, family backgrounds, educational degrees, and horoscope data displayed on profile cards are submitted directly by members or their authorized guardians. While NRI Rishta deploys automated screening and document verification for Blue-Tick badges, we do not conduct comprehensive background investigations, criminal record checks, or offline character verifications.
Mandatory Member Due Diligence: Every member and family is strictly advised to perform independent, thorough due diligence regarding the character, marital status, employment authenticity, criminal record, health, and family background of any prospective match before solemnizing a marriage or engaging in financial transactions.
4. Prohibition of Financial Transactions Between Members
NRI Rishta strictly prohibits members from soliciting or transferring money, gifts, loans, travel expenses, or investment capital to any other member. Any member requesting money under any pretext (medical emergency, customs clearance, transit visa, investment opportunity) is likely fraudulent. NRI Rishta accepts zero liability for financial losses resulting from voluntary off-platform transactions between members.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, NRI Rishta, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from (a) interactions or conduct of members on or off the platform, (b) unauthorized access to or alteration of transmissions, (c) technical downtime or temporary service interruptions.
